Ministries

Epostle is one of several ministries of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church. Ministries are the extension of the Church community into active participation in the world. Ministries are the means by which the Gospel message is spread throughout the world.

Epostle functions as a ministry and at the same time as a voice for our main ministry, In His Shoes, which rallies support for those who suffer in the world. In His Shoes was created in response to acts of Genocide perpetrated against the Armenian nation in 1915. We believe those who have suffered evil have a unique responsibility to take action against injustice to others. Our actions are based on Christ’s principles of love, compassion and repaying evil with good as expressed in Armodoxy.

From In His Shoes, many programs and missions have been established, some as one time events, others as on-going ministries, for example our homeless outreach program. Below are just a few of the many programs that have allowed us to Walk In the Shoes of others.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Amen.
