Second Thursday of the month is when our In His Shoes Ministry serves dinner at Ascencia– Glendale’s shelter, as a part of our Homeless Outreach. It started about 14 years ago when we were at the Armenian Church Youth Ministry Center in Glendale, when our crew would take food and clothing to the homeless on Skid Row in Downtown LA. Then we partnered with Ascencia as well as Family Promise, and we have been filling bellies ever since.
We feel so very blessed to receive the beautiful gift of being able to serve our Ascencia family. Their smiles warm our hearts. We are thankful for our health, families, sponsors and those whose prayers make our homeless outreach possible.
