Epostle Enters a New Era of Global Ministry

Groundbreaking AI translation collaboration opens the door to sharing the Armenian Church’s ancient Christian wisdom with the world

LOS ANGELES:  Epostle is proud to announce a major new milestone in its mission: the introduction of advanced AI-powered translation technology that will begin making the expansive Epostle digital library accessible in English, Armenian, and Spanish, with the technology capable of supporting more than 110 languages.

For Epostle, this is more than a technological upgrade. It represents another important step toward fulfilling a vision that has guided the ministry from its beginning: using the tools of our time to build bridges between people and share the light of God throughout the world.

Archbishop Hovnan Derderian has described Epostle founder Fr. Vazken Movsesian as a “global priest,” a phrase that has increasingly come to define the possibilities of this electronic ministry. Working alongside Fr. Vazken, Epostle Creative Director Gregory Beylerian has continually explored emerging technologies that can extend the reach of the Church beyond geography and create new ways for people around the world to encounter the spiritual heritage of Christianity as it has been preserved within the Armenian Church for nearly two thousand years.

Epostle has grown into an extraordinary digital archive containing 5,784 pages of writings, education, outreach programs, multimedia projects, spiritual resources, and Armenian Christian heritage preservation.

Until now, language has naturally limited how much of this material could be experienced by audiences around the world.

That boundary is beginning to disappear.

Epostle is launching its new multilingual platform with English, Armenian, and Spanish, creating an immediate bridge to three significant communities while establishing the technological foundation for a much larger global expansion.

The underlying system has the capability to support more than 110 languages, opening the possibility that Epostle’s growing library may ultimately become accessible to billions of people across cultures and continents.

A Collaboration at the Forefront of WordPress Innovation

This milestone has been made possible through an exciting collaboration with the Kriesi team / creator of Enfold, one of ThemeForest’s most successful WordPress themes and a platform trusted by hundreds of thousands of website owners around the world.

After helping redefine what a modern WordPress theme could accomplish through Enfold, the Kriesi team is now turning its attention toward one of the internet’s greatest remaining barriers: language.

Their newest technology brings context-aware artificial intelligence into website translation, moving beyond simple word-for-word substitution toward a system designed to better understand the meaning and context of what is being communicated.

Recognizing the unusual depth and scale of Epostle’s digital library, the Kriesi team identified Epostle as an ideal real-world collaboration for testing and advancing this next generation of translation technology.
